A semifinalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and winner of Best in the Midwest at Gilda’s LaughFest, Ryman has been hailed as “one of a kind, fantastic!” by judges and fans alike. Both absurdist and clever, Ryman's act is a favorite at top clubs, colleges, and arts centers, and is regularly featured on SiriusXM and iHeartRadio.

Celebrating 2 years of standup comedy magic in Lowertown Saint Paul's favorite room for laughs. Featuring a full lineup of Gambit favorites!

This special celebration features a lineup of Gambit Brewing Comedy favorites - comics who have performed for our audiences with much fanfare, from established pros to some of the top up-and-comers. Come celebrate with us as we put on this free show as our way of saying thank you to local standup comedy fans who've supported us or have looked forward to finally checking out one of our shows.

**This will likely become a standing-room-only event (seating capacity is 65, total capacity 92) so arriving early is recommended to find good seating, have time to order drinks and food, use the restroom, etc. Show up as early as you like. After 6:30pm it may become more dificult to find seating.

ONE LINER MADNESS is a Time Out Critics’ Pick show that travels the country to find the best joke writer in every city.

On Thursday, Oct. 23, dozens of local and national comedians will go head-to-head in a bracket-style, single-elimination, one-liner joke contest. Audience applause determines which of the 64 performers advance, and who ultimately becomes the champion and winner of the trophy and cash prize.

It’s like a March Madness tournament in 100 minutes, but with jokes instead of basketball games.

Hosted by Emily Winter (E!, The New Yorker, NPR), Ben Katzner (new album Supple Harlot), and 2024 Champion Comrade Tripp!
